The Elements of Social Success - Presentation for 2012 PVAMU/TAMU NSF ADVANCE-PAID Professional Development Conference

A couple of months ago my sister posted on Facebook that she was looking for someone to present with her at The 2012 PVAMU/TAMU NSF ADVANCE-PAID Professional Development Conference , being the wonderful brother I am I jumped at the opportunity to work with her.

The audience was made up of female faculty members from Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the Departments of Engineering and Technology.

Congratulations to my teammate and business parter, Doughbeezy for making it into the the lastest issuse of  XXL magazine (DEC11/JAN12).

We have been working together and mashing for the same team since 2003 and this is a true testament to faith, hard work and talent.

A Book Apart - Brief books for people who make websites

A good friend of mine recently "put me on to" some very valuable pieces of knowledge for people who develop websites. These pieces of knowledge are quick read books from a "new age" publishing company called A Book Apart.

SourceKit - Text Editor Inside Chrome

SourceKit is a  handy Chrome plugin that is basically Dreamweaver in your browser. Its a programmer's text editor that has options for HTML, PHP, CSS, C++, Ruby, Perl, Java, Python and a few more.

You hook it up to a DropBox account and your changes are synced and saved. I've been using it for a few months and I have no complaints.

SXSW 2011 : Bun B House Party and 6th Street - ATX

Me, Doughbeezy, Mr. 16, and Vay decided to hit Austin for SXSW.

I had a little league football game to coach Saturday morning so we didnt end up leaving Houston till that afternoon around 4:00.

As we are heading out of Houston we get the call saying that it was going down at Bun B's house party and it was.

WordCamp Houston 2010

This past Saturday I attended WordCamp Houston.

It was held at the Museum of Natural Science and included a mixture of WordPress users, developers and enthusiasts.

The Immaculate Reception

My sister broke it once again.

For the people that didn't get a chance to come to Aruba she held a reception at the Museum of Printing History.

There was desserts, open bar, live jazz from my kinfolk Lloyd Hughes, a dj and a theater room playing the video of  the wedding photos.

My sister Sheleah met a guy, they dated, he proposed and then they got married..in Aruba

I lived with my sister from around the time they met until the day I got back from Aruba and was able to see a real life love story filled with faith, family, fun times and food.

I love them both and will always be there to support them in any way possible.
