Networked with 3 new people at Stanford University this week. A Data Center Facilities Engineer from Stanford IT Services, as well as a Web Designer and an IT manager from the Comparative Medicine department within the Stanford School of Medicine.
Attended a virtual fireside chat with Bryan Bashin, Vice Chairman of the app “Be My Eyes”. Be My Eyes connects people needing sighted support with volunteers and companies anywhere in the world, through live video and artificial intelligence. A practical use case of AI being used to improve accessibility.
Expanded my investment and partnership with The Lab 45 Recording Studio, a recording studio in Houston,TX close to Beltway 8 and 45 south. We're looking for new artists to work with and want to help more people record quality music and audio. I got inspired and posted something on instagram and recorded a livestream for my youtube channel while at the studio. I also connected with an amazing new engineer, DJ The Mixtress who I'm looking forward to working with!
Connected with a new mentee from the Prairie View A&M University College of Business IMPACT mentoring program. It was energizing to speak with a young black man that is trying to make a way for himself and moving in a positive way.
Ended the week with Danae on date night at Hyde Park Kitchen + Bar off of NASA Rd. Might have had the best Buffalo Chicken pizza I’ve ever had.
