I recently returned to the campus of Stanford University for the H&S IT team Fall Residency Week.

My manager blessed me with the book Unstoppable: The Unlikely Story of a Silicon Valley Godfather by Roy L. Clay Sr. that she picked up at an event that his son hosted on campus a few weeks before. Roy L. Clay Sr. is a pioneer in Silicon Valley and respected inventor, entrepreneur and consultant.

During residency weeks we use the time to reflect, plan, strategize, and prepare for the upcoming year while making time for in-person connections and team building.

We had a team dinner at Rangoon Ruby Burmese Cuisine in downtown Palo Alto, a night at Top Golf in San Jose, and a tour of the Stanford Home of Champions

I also attended the 24-25 Tanner Lecture seminar titled We Are Called To Be A Movement given by  Rev. Dr. William J. Barber III.
