I grew up reading library books, listening to DJ Screw tapes, and chatting on AOL.

During high school, I discovered HTML and launched my first website in the Fall of 2000. From there, I was determined to use the web to build a career that connected my passion for business and technology.

I attended Prairie View A&M University and majored in Business Management. After graduating in 2005, I built my professional foundation as the office manager at my uncle's landscaping company, teaching at an elementary school, and as a vendor manager for a nationwide facilities maintenance company called ServiceEverywhere.

In 2007, I came across WordPress and Drupal and decided that I needed to find a way to work with the web and content management systems full-time. In 2008, I landed a job at a web marketing agency called Schipul. At Schipul, I developed and sharpened my skills in project management, technical support, training, and web development while working with clients using Tendenci, WordPress and Drupal.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to build relationships and exchange knowledge with a diverse group of people from around the world while managing and developing solutions for businesses and organizations in higher education, government, tech, non-profit, professional sports, entertainment, and finance.

Through my experiences, I've learned a lot about building and leading teams, setting and achieving goals, and what it takes to make things happen.

I want to help and share what I've learned and empower others to reach their full potential and beyond!
